Well to be fair BRS has always been pretty talkative in every single depiction of the story except for the ova/anime one and that's only because it had Matou handle most of the characterization for her.

Yeah, this seems to be a complete re-imagining of the game's story from what I can tell. Which I'm completely fine with.

There's also the mobile game BRSFragments , it seems the enemies there will be interdimensional crossing monsters.
It seems it's also planned for an english release as well , so I'll check that one out. Inb4 we get to fight WRS there again.

entirely not related to previous BRS anime, the story is actually kinda similar to old PSP game of BRS..(story is different but lot of things like characters and equipments design etc are similar to the game..)

This, it feels like people were expecting an exact continuation of the original anime... they're going to be extremely disappointed as this is literally the old PSP game but with a different story.

Lol, ok so this is my complaint: I really enjoyed the first ep not knowing anything about the BRS franchise, and the robot guy literally drowning (killing) multiple girls with his spunk was hella gross, but it was an otherwise good 1st ep.
But this ep with the only man talking about killing and r@ping his "enemies" @ssholes (which he was talking to the little boy when he said it) really left a bad taste in my mouth and then Empress absorbing the ammo for the coil gun and it looking way too much like sperm for it not to be intentional and her saying "delicious" once she absorbs it. Come on now.

And im not gonna even go into the sexed-up, scantily clad lolis and "tiddy armor" girls i KNOW thats what anime is mostly about so i gotta let it go, but come ON. I will watch the 3rd ep to see if this gets better/was just a one off and hopefully it does. (Also Empress' hair mechanics are dogshit lol)

(and before anyone says something about me being a "conservative woman" and how i "dont understand blah blah" or some shit, the "idaten deities" last year was so so bad with the horrible things that happened but it was also a "good" anime. If this turns out to be anything like the first season of brs it will definitely be worth watching. It's been a while since I watched it, but it was truly an anime that was suitable for a broad audience with a lot of mindless action, but also a lot of hidden meanings in seemingly random events which was a real treat for people who like deep and complicated storytelling.

I absolutely agree with you, if the 3rd ep is still shitty I'm def quitting, they had so much potential but some things are just so blregh, at least they could make sense of those scenes but they simply choose not to.
